SIGRID EVA

Sigrid Eva is a Danish singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist creating indie pop with emotional storytelling and live performances with integrity.

Sigrid Eva gained success with the release of her debut album “As It Once Was” (2025), with both national and international exposure. Her song "Record Store" went straight to radio rotation on national radio (DR's P5), and she embarked on her first tour in Denmark (including RIGA, RUST, and HeadQuarters) and the UK (including The Bedford). She has also headlined at established venues like RUST (CPH) and played at several Danish festivals like Copenhagen Jazz Festival and Strib Vinterfestival.  Today she spends her time in the studio and at the piano, creating songs with catchy melodies and with lyrics that tackle the emotions we don't speak about often enough.
 

Sigrid Eva started writing music on her first year at the Danish National Conservatory of Music, studying classical piano performance. While being accepted into music school, she had to move her life to another city and felt lonely both in her personal and professional life. 
"I felt stuck in the world of classical music and knew I wanted to separate myself from the traditions that I knew. It took me years until I discovered that my journey into songwriting was through the piano and not by distancing myself from it" Sigrid says herself. "I always thought I had to choose to become either a concert pianist or a songwriter, but when I realized I could exist somewhere in the middle something magical happened."
Sigrid Eva is an example of a musician who does not stick to labels. Sigrid wanted to voice her thoughts and feelings, and when she thought she had to quit piano in order to do so, she created something entirely different.

Sigrid Eva performs live with her band or solo at the piano, blending her indie pop songs with impressionistic piano interludes, creating a deeply personal live experience. With a larger band her music reaches even further through soft vocals intertwined with drums and bass that will make you want to listen again and again. Her lyrics are honest and mature, about life as a young adult, heartbreak, loneliness and friendships.
